Bazian Solar specializes in providing complete turnkey solutions combining design, development, construction and maintaining solar power solutions in Kurdistan
@rawaz It could also be easily done for those in the gated communities such as German villa, empire villas- anywhere with 24 hour electricity and buying by kwh
Location and climatic conditions of @Kurdistan region mean solar energy can provide considerable amount of the energy needed for any business provided there is space. Kurdistan receives 2000-2500 hours of sunshine
@rawaz This is for on grid systems at utility scale- no storage- which we can deploy in 1000s of megawatts before we need storage-so at least we do not use generators during the sunny days -
@rawaz The cost of hybrid system is higher correct but with correct - but the cost of generators is mich higher so the overall saving will be the same, in terms percentages- for hybrid situations pay back might be sooner
@rawaz at the moment nothing can compete with these numbers - for example fuel oil -krg contracts is 32 dollars per mwh for operators plus 70 dollars cost of fuel is about 102 cents per kwh produced- solar is 20 dollars per mwh.
Solar energy is the cheapest per kWh when considering Levelized cost of energy( LCOE) in #Kurdistan , the question is Why aren’t we developing and using it more?
According to @FlareIntel Iraq is emitting the equivalent of 11.5 million cars annually in CO2 due to gas flaring, that is more CO2 than is being emitted by the estimated 7 million cars currently on the road in Iraq.
KESK team has successfully installed an on/grid solar PV system for a house in Hiwa city/Erbil with 8.6 KWp PV capacity. The system annually generates 14.7 MWh of energy and reduces $1800 from the Electricy bil. It also offsets 12 tons of CO2 annually.
Solar has a huge potential in Kurdistan and Iraq, The global trend towards green transition has already started. We should not squander this opportunity or iraq as whole will pay dearly in the coming decades. https://t.co/2eLWY796Zi
AbuDhabi National Energy Co. soon to inaugurate solar plant in UAE.
Also known as TAQA has operating right in 1 oil block in #Kurdistan with production capacity almost 50K bopd.
