@USRepMikeFlood@TeamPillen@SenatorFischer@SenatorRicketts@RepAdrianSmith@RepDonBacon Btw allow me to introduce myself, a transplant resident of NE 1st for 3 years. One thing that attracted me to this state was our way of doing things differently. We don't need to copy other states, we need to practice good governance. Unicameralism and a split EC were examples.
@BYUapologist @kcisney Then, as a wealthy leader of a cult, you could qualify for some solid backing for a presidential run. Not that you would. Or even should. But you could.
@BYUapologist @kcisney In any case, what are we supposed to do about it anyway? I'm with you @kcisney, just hold steady. These things correct themselves eventually.
@BYUapologist @kcisney Here's the stupid thing about the market... If everyone believes there will be a recession, there will be one. So the people saying not to panic are trying to keep that from happening, whether or not there's merit for or against panicking.
I cannot believe that we have spent so much of society's resources on crypto. It is deeply embarrassing. Stop sniffing your own farts and go create some real value you dopes! There's a whole universe of problems to solve.
@BYUapologist It was satire of a painting. The painting itself is not sacred, it itself being an interpretation of the event. But art is fair game to mimicked and even mocked. This is how art works. People just choose to be offended.
@BYUapologist Id almost be fine with keeping the filibuster as long as they actually do the work. Hold their pee, and commit. None of this "threaten to filibuster" nonsense
@BYUapologist I agree with you 100% though I'm mildly surprised you're on board with repealing the 17th.
I think the closest way to get nonpartisan appointments is to have different parties leading the exec and Senate. But of course there is no way to institutionalize that.
