Dave M

Regular Ponty Ender, likes to offend opposition players by referring them by their first name! usually seen celebrating goals on Quest

[Dave M @bfcdave]

Got a perfect photo opportunity last night with Paul Conway following the 6 months of dieting I started back in August. I also had my pic taken with him last night so I wanted to share the progress I’ve made since then!!! Total loss just under 8 stone! #barnsleyfc #youreds

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@CarlosS1kRR Is he out of contract at the end of the season....
He will be unplayable from March.
He is dogga

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@KieranBarrett96 Agree but we had far better opportunities until now and the arrogant statement followed by 3 additional free transfers is incompetence.

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@Butsag1 He was only near due to the lightness of our strikeforce...
Hourihane sent him out with same strikeforce numbers left with 2.
At least the 2 last season were somewhat more decent

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@CraigJones29 Great City is Gothenburg... can share stories with IFK Gothenburg fans about Poy Ashbagi

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@springvalered The arrogance of that statement on deadline day followed by 3 free transfers wank aint it

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@robclutton88 He has had games lower down in the pyramid.
Lad is getting stick for his last performance and could have done better. Its sad that we have failed to invest correctly in this key area relying on loans to pkug a gap and all have beem underwhelming

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@JosephHibbo Smack bang in ESL....
Fair but hard tackle
Ref and lino appalling

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@dougokane88 There are players out there....

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@MickConboy80160 @Georgrundo Correct ive always stood by this and under investment in strikers

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@Georgrundo I forgot Bradshaw on this

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@Georgrundo I am in belief they are scared of pulling the trigger on a signing a striker based on the data they have.
The 5 windows they have had.
DKD great
Rodrigues:- Gash
McGoldrick:- Hourihane influence
Kirk and Toure TBC
Does that say anything to you

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@xCammy17x Dike or Oli McBurnie tough to call between the 2

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@BarnsleyFCFans @dougokane88 Its been the 5th consectutive window woth little on the striker front.
Its dogshit recruitment. With the 2 strikers recruited. One not tested at this level. The other in this country. Only outlet is Cleary who i hope adds £££ onto his value for us to cash in to start in Jan

[Dave M @bfcdave]

Correct....
The questions i have are the following
Striking options. 5 games with 1 senior striker took off at HT
In need of a goal takes off cleary. On DS.
2ndly the arrogance of the deadline day statement. Not replacing forward line adequatley with the departures from last yr

[ellireds26 @Christophe61107]

It fucking angers me why there is ALWAYS a scapegoat. Leave Ravenhill alone. Goalkeeper is hardest position on the pitch. This result was down to 16 players plus a manager not 1 player. Get off his back. I fucking hate our fan base @BarnsleyFC #barnsleyfc

[Dave M @bfcdave]

Good business here....
Still lacking forward options reds

[Barnsley FC @BarnsleyFC]

The latest Red in the ranks 🔴

We are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Connor O'Riordan from Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan through to the end of 2026/27, with the Club holding an option to make the move permanent in summer 2027 ✍️

Welcome to Oakwell, Connor! 👊

Norway's goalscorer Andreas Schjelderup thought key decisions went against them in their World Cup quarter-final against England.

[Dave M @bfcdave]

@CraigJones29 Good read couldnt agree more sensible signing
