Thankful for this man’s commitment to his passion of racing, especially the #Indy500. Thank you Dennis for all you did for the Selman family. Forever grateful.
So heartbroken by the news of Dennis passing. Truly one of the absolute best human beings I’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths with. Dennis gave me chances and had faith in me when others didn’t. My dream was to win the Indy 500 but I actually wanted to win Indy for him and the entire DRR team more than anything. Forever thankful for everything Dennis has done for me. Praying for the entire Reinbold family. Love you Dennis🙏🏼❤️
Devastating in so many ways. Lost a true friend, leader, fierce competitor, family man. He embodied the essence of pure passion for the Indy 500 and IndyCar. My thoughts below… his legacy lives on.
Very sad to hear about the passing of an Indy Legend. He lived and breathed IndyCar. The kind of passion that has helped make this sport what it is. You will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered, DR. Thanks for all you did for our sport.
Desperately sad news. Dennis was a golden example of chasing your dreams, and bringing everyone along for the ride. A lovely man with an incredible legacy.
RIP Boss, Godspeed 🙏🏻
There are no words to describe this loss. Dennis was a brilliant leader. His commitment and passion for motorsports was second to none. My favourite part about Dennis was his ability to make everyone feel special and that they had a special relationship with him! What a beautiful thing. I am so proud and grateful to have spent the last two Indy’s 500 racing for him, and will continue to help and support the team for his legacy.
Sending my condolences to the entire Reinbold family, to the DRR racing team and to everyone at DRR automotive dealerships ❤️
Would love to hear some of your stories about Dennis, please leave some in the comments 🥰
Dennis, what a pleasure it has been to be a part of your organization over the years. The passion for @IndyCar racing you had and the tremendous culture you built within the team is something to be extremely proud of. Can’t thank you enough for the chance to compete at the front of the #indy500. Wish I could have got one for you this year. We will miss you, my friend. #RIP
We are saddened by the passing of Dennis Reinbold, whose legacy and contributions to INDYCAR have left a lasting mark on the sport.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the Reinbold family, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and all who knew and loved him.
We are heartbroken to share the news that our owner, leader, and friend, Dennis Reinbold, has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. We ask you to join us in supporting the Reinbold family and respecting their privacy during this painful time.
Dennis was a proud son of Indianapolis. He built a successful family of automobile dealerships across the state, and he loved the community of Indianapolis that gave him so much in return. That same devotion fueled his passion for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway—its history and the relentless pursuit of an Indy 500 win drove him every day. We can think of no better way to honor Dennis than to chase a victory in the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
We ask race fans to join us in remembering the man, his passion for our sport, and the memories we shared.
"Give me my first love!"
Lee Corso's first-ever headgear pick belonged to Brutus and the Buckeyes and it's only fitting that his last one is the same ❤️
Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76. I still can't believe it.
A few weeks ago he was giving his final concert. I hope you came home, Ozzy ❤
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Phil Robertson, a hunting industry pioneer and the patriarch of the beloved Robertson family. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences and respect their privacy as they grieve.
