This is one of the more concerning consumer-exposure studies I’ve seen in a while.

98% of personal care and household products contained at least one chemical that was not disclosed on the label, including several endocrine-disrupting chemicals such as bisphenols, phthalates, and parabens.

85% contained at least one chemical with a known or suspected health hazard, more than half failed testing because of undisclosed contaminants, and 26% contained chemicals that directly contradicted claims on the label. On average, the products contained more than 3x as many chemicals as their labels disclosed.

And this included products marketed as “natural,” “non-toxic,” and “fragrance-free.”

I’ve talked for years about reducing unnecessary exposure to endocrine disruptors. But you can’t avoid a chemical if you don’t know it’s there!

Ingredient labels alone may simply not be enough at this point. We need much better testing and transparency of the products people are putting on their bodies and using in their homes every single day.

@youfit how can I cancel? I’ve been trying to contact customer service and my local branch but no one answers. I keep getting charged and youfit has yet to open like every other gym. I want to cancel and I want a refund for of the months you were closed and charged me.

Additionally, I just called my local planet fitness and they answered immediately and are opening Friday at 1 pm. Called LA fitness they also answered right away and they’re already open for business. Youfit doesn’t even answer the phone.
