@AmericanAir Flight 1141 to Charlotte was supposed to leave Miami at 12:30 EST. We boarded at noon and were deplaned after an hour of no communication. Many missed their connecting flights, with no compensation offered.

@AmericanAir Yet another 30 minute setback, followed by an announcement that we can deplane but won’t be allowed back on the flight. Followed by a contradictory message from a flight attendant on the PA saying we can definitely get back on board if we deplane.

We’ve got people missing connections, scrambling to change plans with babysitters and pet sitters, and we’re going to get served some terrible plane food for our trouble. What an awful way to treat your customers. @Delta you taking new clients?

After another 30 minutes, the captain informed us it’ll be an additional 30 minutes or so to complete setting up the catering service (THAT NOBODY ASKED FOR).
