5/6 If you collect art NFTs you are, first and foremost, collecting digital art. NFTs are just the underlying technology and concept that make collecting that art possible.

4/6 They are entirely different domains leveraging the same technology. It is important to remember that NFTs are composed of technologies, standards, and protocols that are exciting but they are simply a tool.

3/6 Since NFTs are so new and exciting, we have collectively gotten into the habit of referring to all these digital items as NFTs. However, referring to all these different things collectively is often nonsensical.
