Those who want to be heard usually don’t even desire power, just respect and recognition- worse still is that some things are so impervious and insidious, they corrupt even the most pure without anyone even realizing it.

We all have more power than we realize, and the ones who do realize tend to take advantage and use that power in all the wrong ways. It’s true the game is rigged from the start, because those with power will hold onto it for dear life.

And yes, fear always wins, we’ve been programmed this way from the dawn of time because it means survival in the wild. We need to admit this and be aware: it’s a losing battle unless we all have a common goal and comprehension of what’s at stake

The complex part comes when we realize good vs bad is all a measure of perspective. And while many are eager to view the world from other perspectives, an equal many are afraid of losing their current worldview and will push against it as if their life depended on it.

The only difference is:
Bad people will always prey upon the weak and frightened. But they think twice about taking on confidence and power, whether it be an idea, a person, or a voice.

It’ll always be the way of humanity to exploit and manipulate anything and everything for personal gain… instead of silencing your inner voice out of fear it will be shunned, silenced, or preyed upon, that inner voice should actually be the very thing being shouted the loudest

Life lessons - give back more than you take. The ones who literally keep humanity in check are the ones who do this. So many people exist only to take advantage of what’s there, to take everything while giving nothing in return.
