Instead of discussing how Elon Musk is now the world's first trillionaire, we should talk about how he killed hundreds of thousands of people through his dismantling of food and medical aid to poor countries

@RBReich Smash and grab. No fear of retribution, no fear of consequences. Everything else in the Trump administration is just window dressing and distraction for massive theft of taxpayer assets.
The US government already has a ballroom just down the street. The Andrew Mellon Auditorium is less than a mile away from the White House is beautiful and accommodates more people than the new ballroom will and is owned by the U.S. Government.

@BlisterPearl "In the Heart of it All: Designed by architect Arthur Brown Jr., dedicated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 25, 1935, the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium has hosted countless events throughout the decades-- including Presidential inaugural balls.

🚨Dem congressional candidate @ChrisRabb tees off on the disillusionment that happened during the Obama era that led to Trump, and what Democrats must now do:
"(Democrats) were complicit in the corporate duopoly, where when the Democratic president is in office, they listen to the Democrats at Goldman Sachs & when it's a Republican in office, they listen to the Republicans at Goldman Sachs.
"There's this very naive belief that we gotta come together and not look backwards. No, we need to punish the people who are responsible for the largest theft of American household wealth in modern history...If we don't use our authority and have moral clarity around going after them, we don't deserve to lead and to govern."

The SCOTUS did this (and more coming. ) The majority has once again rigged an election for Republicans. If there is not major reform (ie. adding 6 justices) the next time there's a Democratic president and Congress, they all might as well just stay at home.
✅Yes to Supreme Court term limits, which will require a constitutional amendment.
✅Also, yes to expanding SCOTUS. No constitutional amendment needed for that. Congress has the power to do it.
The two would pair well, if Congressional Democrats are bold & strategic. That will take some new Congressional Democrats.
@KremlinTrolls@WhiteHouse Trump always understood one essential fact: both Dem & Rep parties are so coopted by corporations, financial sector & their lobbyists that there's almost no barrier to outright theft/hog wild looting of the federal govt. by a determined criminal POTUS & associates.
Truly monstrous decision. As they push to build a $400 million ballroom they are stripping disabled Americans of their meager benefits. Over and over this Administration and the GOP choose cruelty over caring. It’s just sick.
Why not invest your savings in Donald J. Trump branded nuclear power plants? (really) Guaranteed to make a profit! What could go wrong?

Whether it's bankrupting six of his own companies circa 1990-2000s or destroying the U.S. economy and global reputation today, Donald Trump has the knack for wrecking everything he comes into contact with. Next up: the Republican Party!
Republicans are increasingly worried that a battle President Trump started last summer to redraw congressional district lines has backfired and may hand more seats to Democrats https://t.co/uPwKWjh2J1
Why are so many Republicans pretending this isn’t in response to Trump and Texas Republicans doing a dastardly mid-decade redistricting that kicked this off?
@ijbailey Because the entire ideology as well as intellectual foundation of Republican/MAGA leadership is an amnesia-driven insistence that their actions have no negative consequences, ever. Actions that might be destructive never happened. In VA: "How dare the Democrats gerrymander!"
@OurShallowState Trump was convicted of multiple state felonies, the convictions were upheld on appeal but he escaped punishment/consequences. Except now he's in a prison of his own devising in the White House he aspired to for decades. And losing his mind over that fact.
