Family and friends, along with the Swapo Party and community members, organised a surprise reception at the Keetmanshoop Police block to welcome the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Industrialisation, Mines, and Energy, Gaudentia Kröhne, upon her return to her hometown. 

Kröhne was visibly moved by the warm reception and expressed her gratitude to the locals for their support. 

Afterward, a parade through the streets took place, leading to the Swapo Party regional office, where the party's regional coordinator, Mathew Mumbala, welcomed the deputy minister.
