Hispanics traditionally vote democrat. Democrats drew the likes to encompass large areas based on race (Hispanic), which is racial gerrymandering. That gave them stronger votes. Republicans undid the racial gerrymandering. And just like that, the racial gerrymandering is gone, and Democrats don't get their rigged seats.
