Ah, now I understand what is ISO 65535 (or, as I call it 0xFFFF)! It's the maximum value Apple Photos app uses two bytes for ISO and displays it if image value greater than ISO 64000, while GR IV Monochrome is able to work with max ISO 409600.
Lightroom shows correct value.
Alright, that's make sense: if your image size is S, then in crop mode it stays same resolution and not smaller, as Gemini tried to trick me taking actual logic of L size in crop off, then in 50mm it's S size resolution.
ISO (!) 128000. Even on pixel peeping level it's pretty much usable, and more than usable.
I'm still playing with default presets, same exposure:
1. Hi, 2. Solid

My pocket wonders collection. Usually I keep any compact camera, which helped me to take at least one great photo. For some reason I've sold GR IIIx that took plenty of good pictures, so GR IV represents it.
I can't express how much I missed a GR camera.
GR IV Monochrome with its matte finish has so much premium feeling in hands over IIIx. Packaging is also more premium than III one. Now you know why you pay more than as twice as much money.
I'm glad there is no the mode wheel that many of us had issues with it, just a D-pad.
I think, this time I won't buy a spare battery as I usually do and almost never use in field (only with IIIx with its ridiculously small battery). My GR IV HDF is coming soon and I'll be able to swap batteries and charge with powerbank.
Alright, more observations to come, going to play with my new toy!
