He also said that at least Ariel Sharon had a roadmap for peace. Sharon evacuated Israeli settlers and the last IDF soldiers from the Gaza Strip in 2005. But Netanyahu “doesn’t have a plan for peace.”

A DM I got today from a Palestinian journalist in Ramallah. “The truth is that here in #Palestine, no one is fine. And also in #Israel, the people are also complicated. No one is fine. We must scream together. Down with Netanyahu. Let this war stop. Enough death for everyone.”

He said education has ground to a halt in Gaza. All the schools and universities are closed to house refugees or have been damaged/destroyed by the war.

He also said that a single cigarette now costs some 2,000 shekels in Gaza. When he visited last year, he could buy 20 cigarettes for 10 shekels.
