@cuatronelson Yes I want to honor Christ. Maybe a better question to ask...is this something where one Christian can be fully convinced on one side and another Christan fully convinced on the other side and both are not in sin? Love and appreciate you brother.
@cuatronelson Thanks brother. So practically speaking, if we as a family go to church in the morning and in the afternoon we go with our 3 year old son to play at a park are we breaking the Sabbath and in sin?
@ContraMolinism @MissBrneyes@farmingandJesus You need to repent and trust in Jesus alone to save you from your sin. Mary cannot reconcile you to God, only Jesus can. Read 1 Timothy 2:5, and then read it again, and again, and again until God opens your eyes to the truth.
There's no better news to be heard than the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Iโve sinned. Iโm a transgressor of God's law and I deserve eternity in hell for it.
But God- He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to bear the punishment I deserve for my sins.
On the cross, my debt was fully paid, and in Christ thereโs no condemnation left for me. Iโm forgiven fully, freely, and completely.. washed clean and given a righteous standing before God.
This same forgiveness is true for you too if you just trust that Jesus has done this for you
@edromine@TexasPreacher Am I understanding this correctly, that even something like playing ball in the backyard with your kids and enjoying it unto the Lord during the day after church would be breaking the Sabbath and therefore sinning against God?
@TigerWoods Tiger, if you somehow come across this (or anyone who reads this), I plead with you to listen to the message contained in the video I have linked. Above all else, this is what you need to hear.
