In 2023 @bginarchives founder
@armanibijon got the opportunity to contribute to “Fashion In Color” researching and writing all designer bios and receiving a 5 window display in the @Macys Window In #NYC during Black History Month. https://t.co/kPuQaJ6DIf
With the growing success of @bginarchives I'm receiving many questions on how to break into the field. Since we all have come into archives in many different ways, I would love a chance to share some advice with the newcomers.
If interested, please comment or message me 💗
Start from where you are at. Archiving doesn't have to be this elaborate endeavour, you can start archiving anything or anyone. Start with your own family history and go from there. Take classes and courses to keep your skills fresh and discover your niche in your practice
Welcome to BGIA everybody! A time is about to be had 💗
But first where is everybody from?
Drop your city! .Let's connect with someone . We'll start first. We're located in NYC/NJ
