Cuz it means the glass became at room temperature after getting hot from the PC parts. And a known way to break glass is to hit the glass then cold it down fast(maybe it's the other way around tho I'm not sure about that)

@alyb0ba It can happen randomly to tempered glass,but 2 big reasons are drastic temperature change and small defect (even one that is so small you would notice).
