Today, @fordnation introduced legislation to remove the rights of education workers to negotiate a fair deal. Here's the facts:
Education workers earn an average of 39K a year.
2/3 are women.
1/3 rely on food banks to survive.
1/2 have a second job.
They deserve better.
Stop Doug Ford’s attack on Ontario workers! I just sent an email to say: hands off workers’ right to strike! Will you send one too? #OnLab#OnPoli#EnoughIsEnough https://t.co/UczbzmxL8O
Three weeks left in this school year. We're implementing a new Grade 9 Math course in September, but @ONeducation hasn't released any curriculum yet. All we have is an exceptionally vague paragraph as a course description.
When exactly are we supposed to prepare? #onted
I'm wondering again why the exponent laws are part of MPM1D. Not helpful when the rest of the course is focused on linear relations and first degree equations. This should be cut.
@ONTHealth The COVID-19 school and child care screening tool was updated for online screening, but not the PDF downloads (here: https://t.co/iYvI4OlEph). Will these be updated soon? Need them today.
Just thinking this morning: what if everyone kept all their clothes in closets/dressers/etc. in the laundry room and just grabbed what they needed before showering? No more laundry baskets to drag around and put away... More space in bedrooms...
Interesting to see how YouTube view count changes over time. You can see the school shutdown in March, and you can see when some kids started to disengage in May. The regular dips are Saturdays.
