Here are some questions for us to reflect on:
• What is an act of kindness that you have experienced, and how has it helped you?
• How can we extend kindness to others, and also to ourselves?
• How can we build a kinder society that better supports our mental health?
Today is the beginning of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek 2020, and this year’s theme is kindness. 🌸
Kindness is powerful and is deeply connected to our individual and collective mental health.
Kindness is particularly important this year. It can help us to feel protected and connected during this time when many of us are feeling vulnerable and alone. Taking care of our mental health is central to us coping with the covid-19 pandemic, and kindness makes a difference.
• What are your experiences of maternal mental health?
• What barriers do Punjabi women face when seeking help?
• What can we do to remove these barriers and to support the women in our communities?
