At Birmingham Fire & Rescue Service, we are training a new generation of firefighters who can provide both basic and advanced life support care to our patients in the field.
We receive the highest volume of medical calls compared to any other department in the state. Qualified firefighters who can administer life-saving aid in the field before transporting patients to the hospital are crucial in providing comprehensive patient care.
We are certain that they will be prepared to serve the citizens of Birmingham with “Excellence Through Service” at the completion of their recruit academy training.
