Fancy googling, SAMs, aircraft, and wacky munitions. Occasional finder of things. It's your turn, Doctor.

#Syria: this unusual debris, reportedly an unexploded missile, fell today in the Southern #Suwayda countryside.

@dex_eve yeah

[bhangmeter @bhangm3ter]

@3_bm15 Extremely relatable. The sullen grid-search is a core element of my workflow, at least once I’ve got denial and bargaining out of the way.

@RubixRaptor Me when I press G for Gear and frantically pretend I’m doing a bit so that nobody roasts me for being ancient

@RgrMike @heatloss1986 I'd hazard a guess the answer to your question includes the words "flameout pattern", but unfortunately I am not an F-35 and have no specific knowledge of this incident

@Poztreck @Doha104p3 Baekgom is relatively famous, yeah. Wrong country and class, ofc, but it literally was a ground station radar guided ballistic missile, so the underlying concept here is not as absurd as y’all are making it out to be (tho I don’t know offhand of any Iranian weapons like it!)

[bhangmeter @bhangm3ter]

@terrornerds that is a motion-sick cat who is doing their level best not to puke. it looks SOUL-CRUSHING but I promise it is not a specific indicator that your fuzz is on the way out, if that's any help

[bhangmeter @bhangm3ter]

@Jauwnio Have you tried running IntelBurnTest/fuzzmark/etc, memtest, and/or randomly yoinking sticks of RAM? I assume your rig isn't overclocked, but if so you should roll that back.

Repeated BSODs like those you describe are often rooted in a bogus bit of hardware.

@aevris_ I found one of these fellas for the first time in my entire life last week and was DELIGHTED. Every other bird is named some shit like “blue spotted tortoisemurderer” despite not being blue, spotted, or inclined to tortoise murder.

Brown creeper? He brown, he creeps. Perfection.

I think 20th Special Forces Group has some fucking explaining to do.

[Christo Grozev @christogrozev]

On 7 March, the US warned Russia to expect an ISIS-K-organized terrorist attack "in the next 48 hours". Now a photo appears of one of the arrested terrorists, randomly photographed in Crocus Hall, on 7 March. The Kremlin snubbed the US warning as "not specific enough".

This video has broken way too many brains.

The backlash against seeing an intelligent, articulate woman making a wonky issue accessible to the general public highlights exactly why we need new voices and perspectives in this field.

Lmao. Fuck you.

This is some very good (declassified) advice about interpreting overhead imagery.

@ma02920986 I appreciate ISW but it irks me that they post as if they’re afraid their English teacher will give them a bad grade if they hand in an essay that doesn’t meet a minimum word count.

Pressure to produce lengthy takes on everything that happens incentivizes regurgitation
