A young cluster of hot blue stars drifting through a cloud of interstellar dust. The delicate blue haze isn't the stars' own material, it's a foreground veil they happen to be passing through, reflecting their light back to us.

The Little Beehive Cluster (M41) 🐝✨
One of the nearest open clusters to Earth, easily visible to the naked eye in Canis Major. Its scattered orange giants give it a warm glow against the crowded star fields of the winter Milky Way.
