ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
WE MUST OPPOSE THIS MOVE

Public Sector Banks (PSBs) are not merely financial institutions; they are the backbone of our nation's economy and the proud legacy of bank nationalisation.

The hard-earned money, sacrifices and dedicated service of generations of bank employees have helped build these institutions into what they are today.

Today our PSBs are demonstrating tremendous profitability and contributing significantly to the nation's economic growth. Even IDBI Bank has reported strong profits. Yet the Government has moved to sell a 60% stake in IDBI Bank.

If profitable public sector banks are being handed over to private and foreign investors, what is the future of our remaining PSBs? Which bank will be next?

Dilution of the Government's stake is not just a financial decision. It raises serious concerns about public ownership, accountability, job security, and the future of social banking.

Public Sector Banks belong to the people of India. They must remain committed to public welfare, financial inclusion, and the development of our nation—not merely to private profit.

We strongly condemn any move that undermines public ownership and the long-term interests of our PSBs.

Let us raise our voice.
Let us stand united.
Let us protect our public sector banks.
