Middle Class is asking all governments..
If we pay Global Standard Taxes
Do we have Global Standard facilities ?
Overall our Public Schools, roads, breathing air and drinking water ? States need to answer this.
Personal Income Tax, GST, Tolls, Cess, Fuel Taxes, Local Taxes..
I don’t object to contributing . But after everything I contribute, what am I getting back?
Why can’t India’s middle class get the Singapore deal as a starter— lower taxes, better roads, better transport, better civic infrastructure and greater accountability for every rupee it pays from every authority that extracts a tax in one or other form.
Congratulations to PM @narendramodi on becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. This milestone reflects years of dedicated service & leadership. I look forward to continuing our close partnership to strengthen SG–India ties & create opportunities for our peoples.
Peaceful rural life in India. Tourists must visit such areas of India, like this in the foothill of Himalayas. Indian railways connect well, people are very kind, stays are so cheap and cultured, you can still get internet, even 5G, unlike the US or EU.
The DS identified this man as a major threat to their easy manipulation of India very early on. They desperately tried to stop him from ever leading the country.
The moment he became CM, they ignited issues, branded him with every possible label, attempted to sanction him, and even revoked his visas.
They unleashed tens of thousands of pages of propaganda reports against him, both inside India and abroad. They weaponised the opposition and the courts to flood him with cases from every direction.
Yet he overcame it all. To become the PM of the world’s largest democracy. Despite all the hit jobs, sabotage, and propaganda, he remains the most popular leader on the planet.
He has turned every adversity into an advantage. "Being Anti-fragile" is his mantra. And he has made India anti-fragile too. We have seen the nation emerge stronger from every crisis thrown at it.
I believe he will also resolve the infowar crisis. The main force behind it will be weakened and broken by him. It will be a fitting feather in his cap before he retires as not only India’s longest serving PM, but its most impactful one.
History will remember him as the one who transformed India not just in infrastructure and development, but forged a confident, self-reliant nation that stands proud on the global stage.
Basically, in just 12 years, India has done or exceeded what was achieved in the last 60 years. India will be able to reap the benefits of all this work only in the coming decades. And only if there's political stability. That's why the adversaries are earnestly attacking now.
It was not an "incorrect story", it was a fake news article to create panic in Indian markets to cause economic & political issues within India. And this is not the first such "incorrect story." Bloomberg, Reuters, FT, CNBC, WSJ, etc are all being used to hit India continuously.
This one paper by BIT Jharkhand graduate, Indian origin lead researcher Ashish Vaswani (@ashVaswani) and co has helped add $10 trillion to the world's market capitalization. That's 150x Jharkhand's GDP and 2.5x India's GDP. Let that sink in.
India is seen promoting its mangoes world wide in a big way this year. Yet, it seems, we didn't prepare for the sure shot hit jobs that were coming our way. Which I talked about a year ago itself.
There seems no preparation or power to counter the social media farms that are designed to specifically take any small issue for India:
Like just one batch of Indian food products rejected at some customs. They are able to amplify it into the worst news "only happening for India" or "because it is Indian." Indians themselves believe it and amplify hurting ourselves.
And this is how they prevent India's export growth. Every Indian product is targeted specifically. 100 products from China or Pakistan fail import tests of stringent countries and face bans.
Yet they never make news on Reuters or trend on social media. One product India tries to promote, it is immediately attacked. And we knew it was coming, yet we didn't prepare to preempt.
And still don't have the power to counter the social media and media amplification of the news to program the world, and even Indians, against Indian food products.
The cost of such apathy towards such sabotage and information war is paid by Indian exporters and the Indian economy.
This happened because Taiwan invested in semiconductors (like India is doing since last 5 years) 25-30 years ago.
India did not invest in semiconductors and electronics manufacturing in 2000s as it should have. But glad it is doing so now.
Due to the AI chips boom now, a few chip companies of Taiwan have skyrocketed in valuation recently. TSMC alone is 40+% of Taiwan's stock index.
The people who try to make India look bad showing such stats now will be the same who will criticize too if, say, just one private company from India makes up 40+% of India's Nifty.
The year is drawing to a close. Let us look ahead to 2026 with determination, unity and purpose. You can watch my full New Year message here: https://t.co/SfLMY2wNMl
1980- Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew addresses Singapore Airlines employees as major pilot strike is threatened.
A bit tougher than Keir Starmer, dont you think? 🤣🤣
