I am writing this complaint to bring your @AshwiniVaishnaw @RailMinIndia @IRCTCofficial @RPF_INDIA attention to a serious incident concerning the safety and security of passengers travelling on a train mewar express from Delhi to Udaipur on the night of 21 August.
During the journey, a large group of people and workers reportedly boarded the train from Ballabhgarh railway station without valid tickets. The situation became extremely serious as many of these individuals occupied and took control of space in almost every compartment, including reserved and AC coaches. Genuine passengers, despite having valid tickets and confirmed reservations, faced significant inconvenience and felt unsafe.
What was even more alarming was that several individuals appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and allegedly behaved in an inappropriate and intimidating manner with passengers. Their behaviour created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity, particularly for women, children, families, and other vulnerable passengers travelling on the train
When the matter was brought to the notice of railway staff and the Ticket Collector ,We were allegedly informed that this was a regular or daily problem on this route and nothing could be done about it. It was further conveyed that the issue was already known to higher railway authorities.
I sincerely request you to take Strict action wherever railway rules are being violated or where passengers are being subjected to harassment, intimidation, or unsafe conditions.
This is not merely an issue of inconvenience; it is a serious matter concerning the safety and security of thousands of families, women, children, and genuine passengers who depend on Indian Railways.
