अंबेडकर की पत्नी ब्राह्मण थीं। हमारे कन्नौज के विधायक-मंत्री जी की पत्नी ब्राह्मण हैं। रामविलास पासवान की पत्नी भी ब्राह्मण थीं। लेकिन क्या उनके बच्चे ब्राह्मण पैदा हुए?

लड़की ले ली आपने, लेकिन लड़के को ब्राह्मण नहीं बना पाए। फिर सिर्फ ब्राह्मण समाज पर लगातार हमला क्यों?

हमारे समाज की सामाजिक स्थिति ऐसी बना दी गई है कि लोग खुलकर बोल भी नहीं पाते, क्योंकि एससी-एसटी एक्ट का डर सामने खड़ा कर दिया गया है।

हमारी समाज की बच्चियाँ डरती हैं घर से निकल��े में। बहुत से परिवार उन्हें बाहर भेजना तक बंद कर देते हैं। लेकिन जरूरतें सबकी होती हैं। जैसे आपकी बेटियाँ पैसा कमाने के लिए घर से निकलती हैं, वैसे ही हमारी बेटियाँ भी निकलती हैं।

अगर किसी के पास भरपूर पैसा है तो बात अलग है, लेकिन हर परिवार इतना सक्षम नहीं होता। सवाल सिर्फ ब्राह्मण समाज की बेटियों का नहीं है, सवाल उनके सम���मान, सुरक्षा और बराबरी के अधिकार का है।

What happens when Sanskrit students take the language beyond the classroom?

A group of international Sanskrit learners went on an informal hike through the Elbsandsteingebirge in Germany.

What began as a simple day outdoors soon turned into something unexpected: they started speaking Sanskrit.
As they walked, they described what they saw, asked questions, joked, searched for words and helped each other along the way. There were mistakes too—and plenty of laughter.

It wasn’t a lesson. It wasn’t an official Summer School activity.
It was simply people trying to make a language part of everyday life.

And perhaps that is what keeps a language alive—not just preserving its words, but continuing to speak them, share them and find new ways to use them.

This Sanskrit Day, here’s to a language that has travelled across centuries and continues to bring people from different places together, one conversation at a time. ❤️

ಯಾವುದೇ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾನೂನುಬಾಹಿರವಾಗಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದರೆ, ಬೆದರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವಮಾನಿಸಿದರೆ ಅಥವಾ ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದರೆ—

“ನಾನು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ” ಎಂಬ ಉತ್ತರ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರಾರ್ಹವಲ್��.

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಇರಬೇಕು:

👉 “ಯಾವ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ?”

ಸಂವಿಧಾನವು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಅನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ.
ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟಿನೊಳಗೆ ಜನರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು.

ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಕೈಯೇ
ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಸಿದುಕೊಂಡರೆ,
ಅಂತಹ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಎತ್ತುವುದು ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಹಕ್ಕು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ -
ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ�� ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವೂ ಹೌದು.

ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುವುದಾದರೆ,
ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೂ ಅದೇ ಕಾನೂನು ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗಬೇಕು.

ಹುದ್ದೆ ದೊಡ್ಡದಿರಬಹುದು…
ಯೂನಿಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಭಯ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಬಹುದು…
ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು…

ಆದರೆ......

ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಸಾಬೀತಾದಾಗ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಿಹಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಸಾಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ತನಿಖೆ, ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗಂಭೀರ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುವ ಅರ್ಹತೆಯನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವಂತಹ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಅಗತ್ಯ.

ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಜನರ ಭಯವಾಗಬಾರದು…
ಜನರ ಭರವಸೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.

ಯೂನಿಫಾರ್ಮ್ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಭಯವಲ್ಲ,
“ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾನೂನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮೂಡಬೇಕು.

ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಒಂದೇ ಮಾತು—

“ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಜನರಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ;

ಅದನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೂಡ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೊಡಲೇಬೇಕು!”
