After victory at Tololing , another major success was thanks to our Air Warriors on June 17, 1999

Then Sqn Ldr later Air Marshal DK Patnaik AVSM VM and then Flt Lt later Gp Capt Sreepad Tokekar VM were among brave Fighter Pilots who bombed Munto Dhalo in Batalik Sector

Flying multiple very challenging high altitude missions, they destroyed Pakistan's Administrative and Logistics Base set up on encroached Indian territory which supported all their War machinery

Without crossing LoC, they had to dive deep and use the Mirage 2000s computer assisted weapons aiming technology to pinpoint attacks to destroy the life - sustaining infrastructure that fuelled Pakistan's entire war effort in Kargil. Enemy also suffered over 180 casulties in this bombing of Munto Dhalo

Same day, then Major later Col Vijay Bhaskar VrC led 13 JAK LI troops to capture 'Hump', a major success that 3 days later led to victory on Pt 5140 by Heroes then Capt later Col Sanjeev Jamwal VrC, Braveheart Capt Vikram Batra PVC and their men, without casulties. The forever famous call signs 'Oh Yeah Yeah' and 'Dil Maange More' rang out on pt 5140, now called 'Gun Hill'

The enemy was demoralized after these losses & heavy casualties and Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharief ran to President Bill Clinton for help to declare 'Ceasefire'. PM Vajpayee sent a stern reply saying India's patience was wearing thin and that we would not stop without pushing back all enemy troops from our territory

India was on its way to victory against all odds on the World's Highest Battlefield.... but many more Bravehearts had to sacrifice their all before Kargil Vijay Diwas🙏 🇮🇳

I participated in Masters 3 category, age 50-54, with body wt 70.8kgs & secured top spot in my category with 4 new world records breaking previous ones. Squat 102.5kgs(prev WR 90kgs), Benchpress 80kgs(prev WR 40kgs), Deadlift 132.5kgs(prev WR 105kgs)total 315kgs also a WR🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
