@tigers Every Tiger hitter on the team knew this was a potential elimination game and yet and still here in the bottom of the 5th inning they're batting .214 (3 of 14).
@CanesFootball@nflnetwork Kamren Kinchens should be the highest drafted Hurricane this year. This is a solid class, no first rounders in this Hurricanes class though. I think James Williams could be a better pro than what he was at Miami.
@UW_Football@kamfab13 Penix is killing y'all. Dude throws too hard, doesn't let his receivers finish off or round off routes, he throws too high, his deep ball passing is straight trash tonight. I bet the defense wants to put their foot in his a**.
@seakat621@UW_Football@BruenerCarson Yep. Michael Penix is looking like just a guy tonight, only running one guy at running back who is obviously hurt, and the receivers stink like hot garbage tonight. Wanting the refs to help them on PI calls everytime they go out for a pass. Please.
@Spookyload@NMStateFootball@diegopavia02 Abandon the game plan? I've watched Pavia since 2022 and the Aggies did today what they always do on offense, let the kid pass or run and then try to have some balance on offense. FSU had a good team and NMSU couldn't counter them fast enough if at all.
@Agorez99@ABQalex1981@NMStateFootball Yes. Dude gone blame Pavia for the loss. Pavia ain't perfect but that dude gives his all for Aggie football. That defense, FSU is actually a good team, and the running game and receivers taking the day off doomed NMSU.
@Spookyload@NMStateFootball@diegopavia02 No. Don't blame this loss on Pavia. Did you watch the game? He was always on the run because of OL breakdowns, the receivers weren't helping him out or getting open, the defense was trash, I could go on.
@Agorez99@NMStateFootball Oh, yeah that SI article was about how bad the Aggies were for much of their football history, including the 1991 season (3-8). The sad state of their program was big enough for SI to come out to Las Cruces in 1992 to do that article.
@Agorez99@NMStateFootball Man, I remember as a 9-year-old (living in California) when Sports Illustrated did an article that was a part of their 1992 College Preview. And that article was about the state of Aggie football up until the 1991 season. I read that article twice (in '92 and some other year).
@Agorez99@NMStateFootball The point is I go way back with Aggie football (I have been a lifelong USC and UCLA football fan) and historical fans of them would have killed for the success they're having in the present. But that stinker in today's New Mexico Bowl was just sad.
@Agorez99@NMStateFootball I know you feel that way, but again they should have beaten Liberty in the C-USA title game and maybe they would be playing in the Fiesta Bowl instead of them bible boys from Lynchburg, Virginia.
@Agorez99@NMStateFootball Naw, Pavia played in that Auburn game. Threw for 201 yards and had 3 TD passes. As for that rationale, Auburn and NMSU had nothing to do with that. The CFP people just wanted to be some buttheads to FSU.
