Genuine question:

Why can't Indian highways be smooth? They always feel uneven, bumpy, undulating. Even on flyovers along NHs, you can feel every expansion joint under your car. Many times, the car hits a sudden vertical bump out of nowhere, usually at the beginning of a flyover, and the impact is so hard that the wipers come on.

Is it due to soil conditions, lack of technology, engineering constraints, or simply corruption?

If Husband is doing a 4L per month salary job and wife is doing 50K per month salary job then wife is doing that job just to run away from responsibility.

She will earn 50K and pay
- 20k to nanny
- 5k to maid
- 10k to cook
- 10k to travel to work

So basically wife isn't bringing any money to family and also not helping kids and husband at home because of her job.

Thumb rule is - If your husband is a decent earner and you're not earning even half salary of him then don't waste time and energy in doing job, take care of kids and husband, give them time and love, that will bring more value in family than your outside job.

PS: Don't say 4L and 50K couple don't exist, most of the working couple are like that only, women themselves choose such husband, they won't marry unless guy earns 10x salary than her.

What really bugs me these days is that we can't own anything anymore. Everything is a subscription. Adobe, Notion, Spotify. You don't just buy things once, you keep paying every month. You literally have to pay for everything forever. Isn't anyone else bothered by this ??

I propose that IRCTC introduce the following:

- Do not allot the exact seat while booking (only show CNF or WL)
- Allot final seats 12 hours before chart is prepared and give priority for Senior Citizens & Ladies with Children.

In this way, algorithm can allocate lower berths for Seniors & can take latest data just before chart preparation. Seniors need not climb the top berths.

Hope this is considered. I request my audience to amplify this until some action is taken.

I have a friend in India who earns 1.6 cr per annum. He is 34 years old and works in one of the Big 4 consulting firms.

Recently, he made his profile on https://t.co/vtJOkpIP53 and was flooded with messages within a week.

But, most of the women who pinged him have very low salaries (6 LPA to 15 LPA). He talked to a few of them and found that these ladies want to keep working after having a kid.

He told me, he doesn't have a problem with household chores, if his wife has a comparable salary. Then, they both can bear equal responsibilities in everything. In this case, he is completely ok with the lady continuing to work after having a kid, as they both combined can afford the best of the best help available. He is also fine with being a full time stay at home dad to take care of the kid, if the wife asks for it.

He also doesn't have a problem with a non-working wife. If his wife agrees to take care of the kid and becomes a stay at home mom, he has enough salary to employ a full time house-help for her. He says he will take care of everything whatever she needs.

But he is not sure about the girls in between. He says they don't have enough salary to do any contribution in finances. Neither they will have the time to allot to nurturing of kids. He says it feels like a bad deal.

He has decided he will either go with a working woman with comparable salary, or a non-working woman (who has decent intellect & interests) willing to become a full time stay at home mom.

I told him, bro, that way, you will eliminate 90% of the women in the marriage pool. He said he is completely fine with it. No need to compromise on preferences.

I kind of agree with him.
After all, it's an alliance of preferences.

Living here is an absolute nightmare:

• Zero Adrenaline: Women are just casually roaming around at 2 AM eating ice cream without fearing for their lives or dodging intense police naka bandis. Where is the survival thrill?

• No Linguistic Pride: If you don't speak Gujarati, nobody even threatens to beat you up or smash your shop's signboards. They just awkwardly reply in broken Hindi. Absolutely no passion!

• No Traffic Trauma: The roads are so wide and well planned that you actually reach your destination in 20 minutes. How am I supposed to finish my audiobooks or rethink my life choices during a 3 hour bumper to bumper commute?

• Missing Action: Someone bumps into your vehicle, and they just say sorry and pay you instead of pulling out a hockey stick. No street fights, no "Tu jaanta nahi mera baap kaun hai." So dull.

• Zero Aesthetic Culture: No underground drug or Udta Punjab vibes. Just boring, safe, sober families existing everywhere.

Honestly, it’s unbearable. Please stay in your happening metro cities, enjoy spending half your life in traffic and keep breathing that sweet AQI 1000 air.

His wife's uncle who demanded huge amounts to settle the case was never arrested

His son, who his wife had kept in boarding at such a young age became the reason for bail so soon, his parents haven't even seen a glimpse of him since then

Judge Rita Kaushik - first name in his suicide note never faced ANY ENQUIRY WHATSOEVER & later got promoted as well. Supreme Court never took cognizance even to investigate corruption despite a dying declaration

Nikita Singhania's right to livelihood was never taken away. Not for a day

First date given in trial of his case by the court was ONE YEAR AFTER THE FIRST HEARING

His wife has moved High Court to quash the case

I will not be surprised if it is even quashed because - There's no concept in India to criminalize mental cruelty by wife

Our system questions men who take their own life calling them weak, sensitive and overreacting

Compare it all to what we are seeing in media for last one week

I am sure Justice will be done to Twisha. I can not even hope if Justice would ever be done to Atul.
