BHER partnered with @WesternU and @TechAlliance to engage 1,067 students in curricular work-integrated learning in the tech sector. This partnership helped Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts students who were underrepresented in #WIL gain much-needed experience.
We’re excited to share news from BHER member @bcit whose trades students are set to receive $5 million in scholarship funding courtesy of the @BeedieBright BUILD program. The funding will support 285 students over the next five years by removing financial barriers to education.
