STRENGTHENING ZIMBABWE'S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT FRAMEWORK

Today, Hon. Minister N.M. Ndhlovu is presenting before a joint Parliament Portfolio Committee on Industry & Commerce and the Thematic Committee on Indigenisation & Economic Empowerment, on progress made by the Second Republic in crafting the Economic Empowerment Bill.

The two Committees are getting an appreciation of the existing policies governing Reserved Sectors & Community Economic Empowerment Trust (CEETs), including their current operations & implementation timeless.

The Joint Committee is keen to appreciate the impact of CEETs & Reserved Sector policy on indigenous Zimbabweans participation in key sectors of the economy.

As Zimbabwe Industrialise towards Vision2030, no one and no place will be left behind. Zimbabweans will benefit more from their natural God-given resource endowments as the economy continues to grow brick by brick.
