The overall number of ED attendances was down a little during April to June 2025. Fewer patients presented with less serious conditions, however, there were record numbers of patients with more serious conditions.

The NSW elective surgery waiting list was stable compared with the same quarter last year. However, the number of patients on the list waiting longer than clinically recommended for surgery was down 70% compared with the end of March 2025.
