@crisco_r @beauhightowerdn The state has a massive surplus due to oil and gas, and it is only growing exponentially due to the current price of oil. The state can easily pay for these projects without increasing costs for the citizens.

@Thaddiuschunder @CBBcontent And UNM didn't have to win the conference tournament because they built a strong enough resume throughout the season. The MVP is voted on prior to the conference tournament. Plus, the regular season success trumps 3 days in Vegas.

Honestly, I don't think Air Force will maintain their historical FB success in the NIL environment. The PAC messed up when they bet on Memphis and Tulane. They would have been better off inviting everyone from the MW except AF and SJSU.

@GeoffGrammer @ABQJournal Good information. Assuming 17 home games for basketball, that's still an opportunity to sell 261,987 tickets in a season. That's still nearly 40k more than football can sell. Do you happen to know the average ticket price for football vs basketball?
