The United States is not a Christian nation. In fact, Jefferson, Franklin and Madison were NOT Christian. The Treaty of Tripoli specifically states “the Government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.”
The United States is legally a SECULAR Republic. Yes, lots of Christians live here, but the U.S. is welcoming to all religions and to those without religion. If everyone suddenly abandoned Christian religions it wouldn’t have an impact on the values of this nation.
For some reason this is hard for some to grasp. Probably the same group who wants to ban burning the U.S. flag and other forms of free speech.

New law: Every time you say physicians just push pills and don't care about their patient's health, you have to do 8 hours of state-mandated shadowing of a family physician.
Congratulations to Brianne Howerton, DO, the 2025 Individual Excellence in Advocacy (Resident) award recipient, who will be honored during DO Day.

Congratulations to the New Mexico Osteopathic Medical Association for being the first to issue a proclamation celebrating 150 years of osteopathic medicine! Eric Enriquez, mayor of @LasCrucesGov, proclaimed December as Osteopathic Medicine Month.

Dear Doctors,
Happy annual cut-your-compensation day.
This one comes with an additional demand for you to change your practice to address “whole body care” and spend lots of administrative overhead proving your “quality” with metrics that are mostly gamesmanship and complex paper pushing.
Love,
US Government

TLDR: 2.8% cut across the board through the RVU conversion rate. This has decreased every year since 2020, for a 10% cut ever since become COVID "healthcare heroes"...🤬

@FBIHouston This isn’t breaking news this is everyday life for so many of us. Rule #1: know what you know, know what you don’t. Stop before you hurt anybody. Welcome to healthcare in today’s climate where profit is placed over patients. & remember those residents are doing it all for <$14/hr

@Austin_PMR Identify it, then work on it. Spending time with loved ones, even if it’s just a FaceTime for 5-10 min does wonders for me. Purposefully eating 3 veggies a day and ensuring i have water on me at all times. Nothing glamorous but small stuff helps! Good luck :)
