The Lindt chocolate museum in Cologne was as popular as ever - lots of free samples and delicious hot drinks in the cafe afterwards - some ordered in German! A quick Bratwurst for lunch at the nautically themed harbour market before starting our journey home. @BlackheathHigh
Blackheath High School German Department trip to the Christmas Markets in Cologne is off to a great start. Lots of shopping and taking in the fabulous atmosphere. More fun to be had tomorrow at the chocolate museum! @BlackheathHigh
In Cochem today on the Mosel river visiting the castle and going on a boat ride. What an amazing experience for our @BlackheathHigh students this week - living with a German family, immersing themselves in the culture and having a great time in the process. Unforgettable.
A warm welcome awaited @BlackheathHigh exchange students at the Angela Merici Gymamasium, Trier today as we enjoy extraordinary weather - 26 degrees, cloudless skies - on the return leg of our German exchange. Many good memories already made and many more to come!
A warm welcome to the students and teachers from the Angela Merici School, Trier who have arrived for our much anticipated German exchange. Looking forward to a great week together.
