The Himebaugh/Hendrix-Petry show was not enough tonight as we dug ourselves a hole too deep to get out. Our senior s orange leaders each got a goal and assist. 3 games in four days is a lot. But no excuses, as Mooresville were deserving winners 4-2.

For the third year in a row we get Martinsvillefirst up in the sectional on Tues 3rd. Winner will play the winner of another Terre Haute derby (they played each other last year too) on Thurs 5th. Sectional final opponent with be either the host BHSS, or Center Grove

Unable to walk properly as a child, let alone run, within 3 years of major surgery to correct her feet, Audain was a national champion runner, within 4 years a top 10 finisher at the World Cross Country Champs, and at age 25 had conquered the distance running world.. Legend

The team spent more than an hour this morning talking with multi-Olympian, former World Record holder, and Hall of Fame athlete Anne Audain. Her decision to accept prize-money for road races destroyed the sham-amateur system most track& field athletes had to live by until then
