@CamSparkle @RICSnews Thanks Sara. Glad it was impactful. Was a challenge to deliver as it felt odd presenting to an empty room and a laptop rather than a physical crowd.

@ukbuilding @RICSnews Thanks David, hopefully as a profession we can start to turn words into positive actions.

Is the current form of urbanisation able to cater for these aspirations? In 2013 I published a paper in #SingaporeArchitect on an alternive urban form that could. This was based on Lionel March's Urban Space and Structure (1973) and Tay Kheng Soon's Rurbinisation narrative. https://t.co/RiFHPfhsVW

More people than ever are rising out of #poverty carrying with them expectations of a better standard of living. Can we #build enough #homes for them? #WBEF https://t.co/lIibCciN5O

One of my positions for RICS Governing Council, if elected, is to interface with other professional bodies including @RIBA @RTPIPlanners as well as environmental advocates through @WorldGBC. Together we can drive necessary transformation for healthy, happy, sustainable places.

Carbon intensity per GPD is the wrong metric - absolute emissions limits are a must. anything else is burring ones head in the sand! #COP21

Poor start-COP21 declined to to set a cap on total greenhouse gases to achieve 2C - idea dismissed as politically impractical #COP21
