La scommessa di Giorgia Meloni è trasformare Ceuta nella nuova Lampedusa d’Europa. Portare l’assalto all’exclave spagnola dentro il dibattito europeo e usarlo come prova finale: senza il controllo delle frontiere esterne, il continente sarà costretto prima o poi a richiudere quelle interne. È la linea che coltiva Palazzo Chigi, la dimostrazione – secondo il governo italiano – che il “modello Albania” non è più soltanto una soluzione italiana, ma una strada obbligata per Bruxelles.

Il risultato finale però è meno netto di quello immaginato. Interessant, was der ukrainische Außenministers Andrij Sybiha hier beschreibt: Russische Propagandanetzwerke hätten innerhalb kürzester Zeit mehr als 1.500 Beiträge über Ceuta verbreitet, um die Bilder europaweit maximal auszuschlachten.

Das ist ein bemerkenswert, denn Sybiha behauptet nicht etwa, Russland habe die Ereignisse in Ceuta verursacht. Er beschreibt vielmehr genau den Mechanismus hybrider Einflussnahme, um den es mir heute ging:

Krisen müssen nicht selbst geschaffen werden. Es genügt, vorhandene Krisen propagandistisch zu verstärken und gesellschaftliche Konflikte weiter anzuheizen, um sie für die eigenen Zwecke zu nutzen.

31 July 1919 | Primo Levi was born in Turin. He was an Italian Jewish writer & chemist. From 26 February 1944 a prisoner of the German Nazi #Auschwitz camp no. 174517. In September 1947 he published his book "If this is a man". He passed away in 1987.

“I am constantly amazed by man's inhumanity to man.”

Those words by Primo Levi are still very relevant. 75 years after the liberation of Auschwitz we still need this warning to reflect about our moral responsibility for the world we live in.
