Dear General Category,

I want to be very clear about what’s happening in the CJP vs BJP fight: we should NOT support either side.

Modi made SC/ST Act more draconian, expanded reservations in states like MP and Odisha, and now UP, while bringing in UGC. And yet, we are expected to keep supporting BJP simply because “we are nationalists and CJP is anti national.”

No.

My nationalism died the day I realised that every time Modi gets an opportunity, the General Category is treated as an afterthought. After Pahalgam, I expected a strong response to Pakistan. Instead, just before Operation Sindoor, govt announced a caste census.
At some point, enough is enough.

Now when BJP is getting attacked from all sides they are back to churan of Hindutva and Nationalism while pushing casteist policies. Let them roll back draconian SC ST Act and UGC then we'll think about supporting them.

My love for Bharat has nothing to do with my support for BJP.

And BJP's assumption that General Category voters are bandhua mazdoor who will vote for them regardless has to end. The UGC protests should have made that clear. And don't forget the countless times GC activists have been dismissed, abused or even labelled “anti national” by IT cell.

At the same time, I have no intention of supporting CJP either. They claim to fight for merit by asking for resignation after paper leaks, but somehow fail to acknowledge the most basic reality of reservation: someone scoring 50 can get an opportunity while someone scoring 90 can be denied one.

So what exactly are we fighting for?

The answer should be our own rights and interests not the interests of BJP, CJP, or any other political party.

And honestly, I know people who support one party or another because they are paid to do so. If you aren't receiving a single penny from these parties, why are you fighting their battles for free?

Let them fight. Let them destroy each other.

We should focus on our rights, our opportunities and our future.

To hell with all political parties.
