Flick is considering using the front three of Lamine Yamal, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi in certain games.

His idea is clear: if he starts with those three, the plan isn’t for each player to stay fixed in one position. Instead, they’ll constantly rotate positions and keep moving to create space.

In possession, Lamine will drift inside, Adeyemi will attack the space Lamine leaves behind, and Gordon will cut in from the opposite flank toward goal while the full-backs push forward to provide width.

When possession is lost, all three will immediately press the opposition’s defense aggressively to win the ball back as quickly as possible in midfield.
