Through the ages, the breath has been foundational to spiritual renewal. It must now become fundamental to our civic renewal.

Massie: "I think it's ironic that we control the House, Senate, Supreme Court, and the White House, and we're yelling 'election fraud'? I mean, we won all the damn elections."
Even @Morning_Joe has had it with the false claims of antisemitism: "If you want to blame anybody for what happened last night, you have to blame Benjamin Netanyahu."
"The idea that you're going to be able to brutalize children and women in Gaza with bombing that looks indiscriminate on TV day in and day out for years, that you're going to be able to level half of Lebanon, that you're going to be able to continue to allow thugs to run wild in the West Bank, and brutalizing Palestinians, brutalizing Christians in Bethlehem, brutalizing Christians across that area along with Palestinian Muslims, especially Palestinian Muslims, blowing up Catholic churches in Gaza... You can blame all of this on Benjamin Netanyahu."
🚨BREAKING: Postmaster General David Steiner told senators that, under a new proposed rule, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) will not deliver mail ballots unless states hand over their voter lists to the Trump administration https://t.co/WA59TUHa59
I'm not running for office. But if I were, these are some of the lessons I'd take away from what happened in NY yesterday.
1. Authenticity is measurable. Voters can smell a focus group from a mile away.
2. Endorsements from the current Democratic leadership now read like warnings. The establishment wing of the party is no longer a sword. It's a question mark.
3. Conviction beats caution. The candidates who said hard things about rent, about who pays for what, about Gaza, they won. The triangulators lost.
4. Cost of living is everything. Everything else is wallpaper.
5. The middle is not a strategy. It's an empty room. Voters reached past the establishment to grab someone who actually believes something.
6. Don't fear the base. Court it. The Democrats who ran from their own voters lost. The ones who ran toward them won.
7. If you want to lead a party you have to be willing to fight inside it. Mamdani didn't ask permission. He took the field.
The lesson under the lessons: the country is tired of being managed. People want to be led.
I don’t know man, who is “the Democratic Party” if it’s not the voters?Democratic voters choose candidates, not party leaders. And party leaders need to listen to what voters are telling us - and right now they are demanding our party be bolder.
To the women who are on this app im going to ask again and I’d love an honest answer..
If you could stay home, raise babies and run a cozy homemaker life.. Would you??
Crying while exiting a CVS Pharmacy because I had to witness an elderly man be denied his medication because he couldn’t afford it. He had to sit down because he was feeling so unwell. I hate this country.
The World Cup fans falling in love with America aren’t in the places MAGA controls ... they’re in New York, LA, Seattle. Chicago, San Francisco, and Boston, the cities Republicans have spent a decade calling dangerous, godless hellholes that apparently the entire world wants to visit.
It is important to resist the commodification of basic human needs. Food, water and healthcare cannot be subordinated to market considerations or geopolitical interests. Access to adequate food is a fundamental human right grounded in the dignity of every person. Meeting this need not only alleviates suffering but also addresses underlying causes of geopolitical instability. Indeed, food security is an essential component of global and integral security. https://t.co/DgkM9RegJ7
Rightists criticizing Anne Hathaway for having a baby at 43 even though Trump was 59 when Barron was born and Usha Vance is pregnant right now at 40 🤷♀️
When men become fathers, they often gain empathy.
But the boost in caring doesn't happen automatically—it comes from caregiving. The more involved men are in raising children, the more their brains change.
Becoming a dad is not a wonder drug. It's an active commitment.
NEW: Many conservatives hoped for a standoff between New York’s Muslim democratic socialist mayor and Pope Leo XIV’s new archbishop.
Instead, a shared love of the poor — and the Knicks — is making them fast friends. https://t.co/E383CYuYHE
here's Barack Obama's entire speech commemorating the Obama Presidential Center. He reflected on his administration's successes and failures, critiqued the moral rot of contemporary America, and outlined a positive vision of the future -- all without ever mentioning Trump
