President Bongbong Marcos said that the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) conducts an ongoing study on wage hike.

“Ang Tripartite Wage Board, patuloy ‘yan hindi tumitigil ‘yan. Patuloy na tinitingnan at inaaral kung ano ba ang talagang presyohan doon sa bawat region,” he said on Wednesday.

“Sa buong kasaysayan ng Pilipinas, ang pinakamaraming pagtaas ng wages lalo na sa Metro Manila ay sa nakaraang apat na taon… Ang susunod ay sa mga region,” Marcos added. (Video courtesy of MPC Pool)

As the Administration strengthens its initiatives to address undernutrition and short-term hunger among public school learners, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joins the Department of Education (DepEd) for the national kick-off of the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) and the Milk Feeding Activity at Pulilan Central School in Bulacan on July 8, 2026.

The SBFP is the government’s flagship school nutrition intervention implemented by the DepEd pursuant to Republic Act No. 11037 or the Masustansyang Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino Act. For School Year 2026-2027, the SBFP is set to implement universal feeding for all Grade 1 learners nationwide, while continuing to provide hot meals, nutritious food products, and milk to all Kindergarten learners and Grades 1-6 learners identified as Severely Wasted (SW) and Wasted (W).

There are more than 775 SBFP beneficiaries at Pulilan Central School this school year.
