In the dance of motherhood and entrepreneurship, finding balance is an absolute art. It's important to prioritise self-care; it's not selfish, it's necessary. Your well-being fuels your success.
It doesn’t matter how long it takes a woman to speak up about the abuse she has endured. When she’s ready…she’s ready. I’m so proud of Cassie for speaking her truth, I can only
imagine the amount of women who will be empowered by this.
This is your reminder that forgiveness is often forced upon you when you have been abused. People will tell you that you need to forgive the abuser, that the only way you can ‘heal and move on’ is to forgive them.
This is not true. There is no obligation to forgive. There is no moral high ground. You certainly do not need to forgive in order to process the trauma and the events.
There is no evidence to suggest that forgiveness needs to be a part of trauma processing.
Don’t feel bad. Don’t feel guilty. Don’t feel like you’re ‘holding a grudge’. If you can’t or don’t want to forgive that abuser, that’s absolutely okay. ❤️
More parents need to empower their children with a voice at home. It’s about actively involving them in family decisions. When you show them that their perspective matters, you cultivate a sense of responsibility, autonomy and mutual respect that lasts a lifetime.
Authenticity as a woman is a powerful concept. It means being true to yourself, your values, and your beliefs, regardless of societal expectations or pressures. #womenempowered
Why is it when women speak up about abuse they aren’t believed, and deemed as the cause. It really speaks volumes about the disregard society has towards women. Keke’s mama came out of her solitude, court papers detail custody awarded to keke, and she’s still being discredited.
More needs to be done about boys/men’s mental health. Parents, start teaching your sons ways in which they can take care of their wellbeing and being open and honest about their feelings/issues.
What happened in #Croydon yesterday is weighing heavy on many of us.
This is more than heartbreaking. Another young girl has lost her life at the hands of a young male in Croydon, London today after merely rejecting his advances and flowers.
Please God shower her family with strength, love and support.
BREAKING: A 15-year-old girl has died after being stabbed in Croydon, south London.

Anxiety will really mess with you.
I’ve been afraid to drive on the motorway/dual carriage way for 6 years, and finally, yesterday, my friends, I pushed all worries to the back of my mind and did it. I f!&@ing did it - with my 12 yo riding shotgun besides me!
Fear is not real.
When a child gets diagnosed with adhd/autism can we please start assessing parents and possibly siblings too. A lot of confusion and self hate could be prevented. #autism#adhd#adultadhd
