Just sit in His presence and allow Him to speak to you... allow Him to be in control.
The quieter you become, the more you can hear.
Be still and know that I am God. - Psalm 46:10
David said: “What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?” (Psalms 116:12 kjv).
A lot of Christian’s mindset nowadays is “what can I get from God or His church?”
But David was praying what he could give back to God or to His work.
Mercy is not getting what we deserve
Grace is getting what we don’t deserve
Thank God that He sent Jesus to die and rise for us so we don’t have to have hell that we deserve and gave us a chance of heaven that we don’t deserve! 🙌
“The life we could’nt live, He lived for us
The death we should have died, He died for us
The life that we needed, He gave to us
Only the amazing grace of God can transport us from death to life because we are already death to our sin”
1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
Paul says that our freedom that Christ saved us for is to be a slave of love. True liberty is not the privilege to do whatever one wants, but the privilege to do what God wants.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY, and SEEK my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin, and will HEAL their land.”
-2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
Do you notice that there’s a battle when you want to read your Bible or go to church, but no battle when you want to want Netflix or go on social media.
Put on the full armor of God and fight the good fight of faith!
Our trials are blessings in disguise. We may not know the why or how yet, but surely, I know that God purposed it for our good!
We just have to trust and obey
