My goal is to be as biblically grounded as possible through intense analysis of God’s word, using context, scripture-interpreting-scripture, and exegetics.
@KingTunde_SZN The dead people are still in the room, whether they’re dead or alive. If the room had 50 people BEFORE I walked in, then the total is 52, but if I am included in the 50, then 51.
Final answer: 51
@Primewave96 In what world is this real? The hot water immediately freezes in a circle, the ice disappears when the camera cuts back, the window splitters like a house window and not like a tempered laminated window, and even seems to burst further and collapse. Not realistic at all
Exactly. God is beyond science, and He could have started the earth however He wishes. Science is at His mercy. Adam and Eve were formed fully grown adults, same as the plants were formed ready to bear fruit, and all the animals. The interpretation that he is using is assuming naturalistic origins, but it cannot see when something is created instantaneously, because it would have been created with the appearance of having a history, as far as science goes. Science excludes the possibility of miracles or acts of God, so it can only take us so far.
That’s definitely not the Big Bang, that’s ridiculous. Even the Big Bang demands something from nothing. It’s inescapable, intelligent design is everywhere. God gave us His Word, and it is the most preserved ancient document ever by at least an order of magnitude. If death existed before The Fall, then death would not be the wages of sin, and death would have been considered “very good,” but it’s not. Science is not in conflict with the Bible as God created science. It’s just your interpretation of science is what’s causing you to distrust the Bible.
No I don’t believe the ark held 6 million animals. I believe, just as science would confirm, that only about 6000 different kinds of animals would be necessary at that time in order for us to have the 6 million we have now. Only two of each breed-able kind of animals is necessary. Based on the measurements of the ark, there would have been plenty of room to store them, especially if you were to select the younger ones.
God doesn’t throw evil down on us to see if we pass, He didn’t set the flame then try to put it out looking like the hero.
Sin entered man by the temptation of Satan, and God is rescuing us from that. Satan set the flame, and God is rescuing us from the fire.
Those who do not accept His mercy will remain in the flame, which is destined for eternal torment, but those who do His will are saved from it, eternally by His side.
Choose wisely
A question got asked of me: Did God work day-and-night for six days, or did He rest each night?
In respect to a “nightly rest,” this can be classified as an anthropomorphism, attributing a human characteristic to a non-human entity. The question isn’t whether God rested each night, but even if He did, this “rest” would be entirely different than His rest on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2-3).
His Seventh-Day Rest is what we as Christians enter when we also enter His Kingdom. The Hebrew’s “seventh day rest” is but a mere shadow, used in analogy for God’s eternal rest. Their Sabbath wasn’t sufficient, just as all the whole rest of the law wasn’t, but the Jews never understood the metaphor. Just the fact that they had to repeat it every week makes it glaringly obvious. It wasn’t the Law that gained them righteousness, but rather their obedience and faith in God.

Try to think of this “rest” as a resting from His founding of His Creation. Analogically it’s similar to, say, someone moving into a new house. They need to unpack, but once they’re fully moved in, they can rest from unpacking, and never need to unrest again (at least in a perfect world).
