The name “Jesus” is the English translation of Ἰησοῦς (yay-sous), which is the name the NT authors called Him. So, not even the Bible refers to Jesus using His Hebrew name, which technically was יֵשׁוּעַ (Yeshua), a shortened version of יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Yehoshua: Joshua).
The group Truthunedited makes a number of controversial claims about the religion of Christianity and the word "Christian." Are any of these claims valid? Let's take a look! https://t.co/x7AMP2nPXy

"The Cross is steady while the world turns." A great reminder as we enter 2025. Whatever this year brings us, whether it's good, bad, or indifferent, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb. 13:8).

Those who oppose Christmas often cite the Old Testament and point to the Torah feasts. And as important as the Torah and the OT are for Christians, there’s one huge thing missing from their comments about Christmas. https://t.co/rme6cKEjtr
