This 💯 It happened in school to me all the time. Getting paired with kids who were all over the place because the teacher knew I would be able to steer the ship and handle it. 😮‍💨

Not only that, but, the computers require so much computing power, which generates so much heat, they use a LOT of water to keep them from overheating. Training ONE AI program for three weeks can require over 250,000 gallons. It's harmful RIGHT NOW, let alone long-term.

I asked disability services for a trash pickup accommodation because it's physically impossible for me to carry my trash to the dumpster and lift the dumpster lid.
"The university doesn't provide this service, so ask your friends."
I file a grievance.

It's so disappointing when you find out an author you really (@andyweirauthor) like only lends their digital tiles exclusively to Amazon instead of supporting indie bookstores and booksellers. I've dropped @audible long ago and I'm never looking back. @librofm for life!

THIS!!! People forget that when you put a play area in a library, there are going to be a lot of parents who are going to plop their child in it and walk away (most likely to do other things in the library, which i get and sympathize with) BUT librarians r NOT child care workers
