@davepl1968 Having grown up in several professional auto shops owned by my dad and grandfather, I can appreciate this. Right tools for the job and back in the day we used a lot of impact air tools 😃…batteries were not even a thing back then.
@HackingDave@dcuthbert Yes! Just need to get past the marketing wave. Those of us old enough to been in the trenches during dotcom know exactly where we are…. then real reasonable work with companies with a P&L will take this to maturity.
@davepl1968 Think we need a quarter tracker to account for lives, extra lives, and how much spent in quarters for the AI for every 3 deaths :) - I spent farrrr to many on Robotron as a teen and it always took all money before I left the arcade - But my name was up there :)
@dhh 100% used to host LAN parties back in the late 90s and could fit a dozen sweaty dudes in my man cave with giant CRTs and even their own chairs. I supplied the LAN, tables, internet and food…all-nighters!
@davepl1968 I had an old car with one (Rambler American) for the washer. Dad had an old 50s tow truck in his auto shop that has the starter floor switch
@OnyxCrack Yep…had to clean it up and re-seat it but it picked it up and recognizes it…I have another 1mb one that’s not working but had not opened it up to see what’s up.
@2j4ez@AmigaReposts Had both plugged on. Scart to HDMI with a converter box and composite separately and switching between the two. Was just trying to get a signal and then muck with ratios settle 😎
@CptSparky360@AmigaReposts 😂…yes I was just trying to get to a functional desktop and find a workbench floppy in a box 😬 then muck with the video options and monitors …flipping between scart to HDMI to composite …ha ..that will be tonight…
@j0zf Yeah the stable keeping growing. I have a really nice Vectrex, Timex Sinclair, Atari 800, Intellivison, and on the list goes...Fun to dig into them for sure. Luckily my wife is supportive 🤣
