I’m anti-alcohol. There is no good amount of alcohol. I’ve been very clear about that.

But recently a podcast where the host said one glass of wine destroyed three days for him got me thinking - how weak and “optimized” have we become?

This country was founded by a bunch of alcoholics. America’s framework was written in a pub where they drank absurd amounts of liquor.

But now, if a man has a glass of red wine or God-forbid a beer, they will be wrecked for months.

So I drank this one Guinness with a colleague, talked business, got some sleep and had a great leg day the next morning.

Getting white-boy wasted is not a good idea, but a Guinness here and there won’t hurt you at all.
