@DDhopn@IBooooqt@1296dcf619c94f6 Wasn’t you offered an unedited version of the interview?
You’d have been free to share that as much as you like I assume?
The optics are really not good here.
Maybe you should reconsider the interview if you genuinely have nothing to hide or worry about.
@DDhopn@Patryk_PL12345 Does that mean that the new terms will be applied retroactively or will you only be considering terms violations since they were introduced just 3 days ago?
@plutus Wouldn’t using only internal $PLU for utility force a massive change in habits (not modelled) therefore rendering the historical data used to validate the model useless and inaccurate?
This would surely mean that there is no evidence that it’s sustainable? 🤷🏼♂️
@plutus@DDhopn
@johnmvaughan@StarLines_@plutus@DDhopn There are far too many variables to simply say, “look the ratio is the same”. Completely depends on your tier, how many perks, when you spent due to price etc etc.
The fact remains, he is a community mod and is paid in $PLU which goes onto his available balance and skews the %
@RossPal70007909 @plutus@Jasperctay@DDhopn Also, if it only covers 50% of the rewards then it will require perpetual minting of new PLU meaning INFLATION.
Not sure why @DDhopn insists that this won’t be the case?

"Dynamic supply causes inflation"
No. The exact opposite is true.
In the new system, 100% of CRY and its yearly multiplier are self-sustainable. Up to 50% of rewards and perks emissions are covered by FUEL, which recycles tokens already in circulation. This reduces the need to mint new tokens for rewards, making the system deflationary.
Reconciliations are done quarterly via a regulated third party, Plutus can not just mint new tokens unless required by customers' spending.
Additionally, according to EY’s forecast, all emissions, including CRY, Rewards, and Perks, can be 100% self-funded at a certain milestone, meaning no new tokens will need to be minted. The dynamic supply only ensures that the system can operate at scale 100 years from now. https://t.co/22WTaoK8o8
@RossPal70007909 @plutus@Jasperctay@DDhopn What @plutus and you fail to mention though is that the report is based on a “simplified model” and that it only works if the price of $PLU is above £7.90 and NO ONE SELLS their rewards.
It also doesn’t factor a change in behaviour due to changes in terms.

@RossPal70007909 @plutus@Apple@amazon@DDhopn@Jasperctay@plutus mods have also said that images on the website are for illustrative purposes only and don’t reflect the actual product, especially around the time of the brand refresh.
As a result, I would treat this as misinformation until the team actually confirm otherwise.
@RossPal70007909 @plutus@Apple@amazon@DDhopn@Jasperctay 🚨MISCONCEPTION ALERT🚨
Not a single brand has been confirmed as of yet. Certainly not in writing.
A comment, in an AMA, along the lines of “[brands similar to the perks]” was made in relation to which brands would be available.
Only 2 brands in that image are @plutus perks.
