A mate is battling the black dog and, doing the logical thing, checked himself into a mental health ward.
He gets into his room and finds bloodstains on the walls, including one on the door.
This ward was opened three years ago.
Every day he is told he will see a doctor, it's been 4 days since he has.
One group activity per day, otherwise they're left alone.
"the one thing I should not be doing is ruminating yet that's the only thing I've got to do in here,"
Most people assume these institutions work and will be there when we need them.
However, when these services are needed most, people are being let down by how mismanaged the are.
@r3tarddownunder@abbiechatfield We told women to act like men, and now they have to invent these silly diseases to justify their womanly characteristics.
In a perfect world she'd be a rich man's quirky trophy wife and have the maids handle all the things she's not cut out for
WAKE UP AUSTRALIA - I CAME TO ENGLAND LOOKING FOR ENGLAND
I am in England at the moment and what I am seeing genuinely worries me, because I can see Australia heading down the same road.
I came here wanting to experience England, its villages, pubs, churches, history, traditions and culture. I have found the history, but in some places I have honestly found myself asking: where are the English?
I see closed shops and struggling high streets. I walk through communities where business after business appears to be operated by people from somewhere else in the world. I hear languages and see cultures from everywhere, yet sometimes struggle to find the English culture I travelled halfway around the world to experience.
I have nothing against immigrants.
I believe multiculturalism can be an enormous strength. Australia has benefited from millions of people who came from around the world, worked hard, raised families and became Australians.
But there is a point we need to be brave enough to discuss.
Multiculturalism should add to a country’s culture, not replace it.
At what point does immigration become greater than a country’s ability to integrate the people arriving? At what point does the host culture become just another culture amongst many in its own country?
That isn’t racism. Being Australian isn’t a race.
If you choose Australia, bring the best of your culture with you. Be proud of your heritage. But become part of Australia as well. Respect our laws, freedoms, values and way of life.
What England has made me realise is that governments can change immigration policy tomorrow, but rebuilding a national identity after it has been lost is another matter altogether.
It has also made me understand why Donald Trump’s immigration and deportation policies have attracted so much support. You don’t have to like Trump to understand that people become angry when they believe their country is changing beyond recognition and nobody in government is listening.
Australia needs to pay attention.
Immigration should serve Australia, not reshape Australia beyond recognition.
I don’t want our children looking around their own country one day and asking the question I have found myself asking here:
Where did our country go?
We can embrace multiculturalism without surrendering Australian culture.
Australia, wake up while we still have the choice.
What’s your thoughts…?

BREAKING: NICK BLAKEY WANTS OUT AS SWANS FIVE SCANDAL EXPLODES.
Fresh details are leaking from the Sydney Swans’ now infamous night after they belted Essendon in Round 23.
A source close to the probe says Victoria Police are looking hard at the state’s affirmative consent laws.
Under those rules, failing to pay a sex worker for services already agreed can be treated as rape - even if the original deal was consensual.
An extra slap on the backside beyond what was negotiated could put Isaac Heeney in serious strife.
The source says the trouble started when the cash ran out.
One of the women allegedly left the room off her face, hit the street, then realised she’d left her handbag behind.
Hotel staff stopped her going back in.
She rang the others still upstairs. They all came down and started unloading on staff.
That’s when Swans officials walked out around 7am looking for coffee.
The women immediately fronted them about what they claimed happened in the room. Fearing the worst, club staff called police.
All over a forgotten handbag.
The Swans and AFL did not drug test the players in the days that followed, so those claims stay unproven. The women are also alleged to be well known ketamine users.
Nick Blakey is said to have not even been in the room. He’s furious at being dragged into it and has demanded an immediate trade.
Inside the club, players feel they’ve been thrown under the bus. Officials never spoke to them first to get their side before ringing the cops.
The real problem for the Swans comes if the truth lands like this: the boys have no case to answer, no charges are laid, and a season that had them sitting second is gone for nothing.
The club will look like they blew up their own premiership tilt over a hotel room stoush that never became a crime.
All over a forgotten handbag.
Ok. I find the AFLW incredibly boring and I believe it is dominated by a bunch of butch unathletic lesbians.
Does that make me a homophobic misogynist?
The crowds of 2-3k per week would sermingly prove my point
